ABOUT Our Group:

Surtaal Club is named after Punjabi word Surtaal in which “sur” means Notes of musical scale and “taal” means Rhythmic Beat.
​
The Surtaal Club is group of Adult Artists in the Eisteddfod is distinguished one, led by Pawan Kumar, the group comprises Dancers, Singers, Musicians and Drummers. This group successfully performs all the traditional forms of Punjabi Folk Dances such as Bhangra, Giddha, Jhoomer, Jindua and Luddi. This group has 20 year of history of successful participation in different states of India and it also participates in 20 plus different foreign countries festivals.

This group is only group in Punjab who organized Folk dance Festival every year. Our motive is to show the world of our country's one of the best Folk dance which according to us is one of the best dance form in the world. In this Dance form we need more energy, rhythm and stamina than we need in other dance form world wider. We want that people know about us, who we are, where we live and especially how we celebrate our festivals and events.
We want to spread happiness, peace and harmony in the world through our Music and Dance.
